Want to take a picture with the World Series trophy? Two more Middle Georgia stops added

The Braves World Series Championship trophy is coming to Middle Georgia this month as part of the trophy tour which features 151 stops.

Maconites can see the trophy Saturday at the Georgia Sports Hall of Fame (301 Cherry St.) from noon-4 p.m.

In addition to the stop in Macon, the trophy will also make stops in Dublin and Milledgeville. On March 23, the trophy will make an appearance from 3-6 p.m.. at Georgia College and State University. The trophy will visit the Little League Southeast Park in Warner Robins on March 24 from 3-6 p.m.

The tour began on Feb. 15 in Atlanta. The tour will continue through the spring and summer. The Braves will send out more information on times and dates through their insider program.

At each stop along the tour, fans will have an opportunity to take a picture with the Commissioner’s Trophy. This is a chance for fans to celebrate the Braves World Series victory over the Houston Astros.
