LIVE UPDATES: Follow the latest HS playoff football scores across Middle Georgia

Middle Georgia teams will be back in action on Friday night for the first round of high school football in the GHSA playoffs.

Most notably, Jones County will take on Griffin in the first round. This is the third straight year these two have met in the playoffs. Jones County has won both of the previous meetings.

Warner Robins is also starting its quest to repeat as 5A state champions but must get past the first round over Jonesboro first.
