Baltimore Orioles hire first female strength coach and she has Middle Georgia ties

The Baltimore Orioles have the first female strength coach in franchise history, and she has ties to Middle Georgia.

Georgia College’s graduate assistant Liz Pardo has accepted a position as the strength and conditioning coach for the Aberdeen IronBirds a class A affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles in the New York-Penn League.

“Everyone here at Georgia College has been nothing but supportive and welcoming ever since I have gotten here,” Pardo said in the release. “It tears me up that I have to say my goodbyes early. But I am so thankful for my time here because I would not be where I am without this community in my corner.”
