An eighth-inning RBI single by Trey Truitt on Saturday gave Mercer a 6-5 victory over Bradley in a non-conference baseball game at OrthoGeorgia Park.
Bradley tied the game at five with a two-run sixth inning. Matt Meeder’s one-out double paved the way for Truitt’s run-producing single to left to give Mercer the lead. Bradley then went down 1-2-3 in the ninth.
