478 Sings United voting is underway, with each vote going towards COVID-19 relief

The 478 Sings United competition is underway. Voting for the first four matchups ends Thursday at 8 a.m.

The Mercer region of the bracket will go from April 23-26, followed by the United Way region April 27-30; the Visit Macon region wraps up the first round of voting with its matchups running April 30 through June 3.

At the end of the single-elimination tournament, the grand prize winner will receive $2,500, plus perform at the opening Mercer Bears football game on Sept. 12 as part of the 2020 Ford Mercer Concert Series, and record a track at Capricorn Sound Studios in Macon.

Each vote cost $1 and goes toward the Central Georgia COVID-19 Response and Recovery Fund. All voting will take place through www.unitedwaycg.org/sings.
