Houston County Schools virtual chorus offers uplifting message at start of digital learning

As the Houston County School District began digital learning on Monday, band and chorus teacher came together virtually to send a message of positivity to let parents and student know they are in this together.

The teachers from across the district joined together to form a virtual chorus and perform a cover of the song “You Will Be Found” from the Tony Award-winning musical “Dear Evan Hansen.”

Superintendent of Schools Mark Scott made a cameo in the video to send a message of hope during the coronavirus pandemic.

“As we go through these uncertain times, it is easy to get lost in the stress of the moment,” Scott said in the video. “We will get through this together by lifting up and supporting one another during this social distancing, especially as we begin a new normal of digital learning for all students.”
