When I heard that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., was the recipient of the 2019 Profiles in Courage award, I thought that it was a cruel joke on America. My immediate reaction was to want to throw up in disgust. She is just as despicable and un-American as the traitor know as Jane Fonda.
Pelosi obviously hasn’t read the Constitution recently or the Federalist Papers ever. She ought to take the time while riding around in her government-provided luxury executive jet to do that. She represents socialistic, and even Marxist, principles that our Founding Fathers tried to so hard to avoid when setting up the capitalistic republic form of government required by our Constitution.
She and her husband are multimillionaires with much of their fortune being made as a result of her public service. She has controlled legislation that has enhanced her husband’s investments, both on and offshore. At the same time, she redistributed the wealth of others. Our system of a free market economy is being destroyed by the likes of her. She rides around in a Gulfstream jet at the taxpayers expense, while criticizing the presidents of companies who actually produce something for the economy. She adds nothing to the economy of the United States, but she certainly subtracts from it.
I was particularly appalled at her insolent and shameful behavior while on camera behind President Donald Trump during the latest State of the Union address. This conduct was childish and beneath the decorum called for in the halls of Congress. Almost every day, for the past two years, Pelosi and her minions went on Sunday talk shows and network news repeating the tired old Trump-Russia collusion narrative as if it were a foregone conclusion. Anyone doubting the collusion tale or asking for proof was mocked, ridiculed and belittled by the leftist elite as being ignorant or an extreme right-winger.
She should return to the city of fruitcakes and nuts and eat her husband’s canned tuna and pineapple — produced by illegal immigrants and by workers who have been excluded from the protection that 90 percent of the legal workers in the United States have.
She uses the term “un-American” for protesters who love this country and are exercising their rights upon which this country was founded. She is an embarrassment to all of those who served in the military so that she would have the protected right of free speech to call us un-American. I consider Pelosi to be un-American, as do the majority of the people of this formerly great country. She is a true disgrace to most of the people who served this country by offering themselves for public service in the United States Congress. I await her defeat in the next election with hopes for this country to improve itself. The Profiles in Courage award was based on the honorable people that were put forth in John F. Kennedy’s book of the same name. Now, that award has been tarnished and devalued forever.
