Can we survive?

When I heard that the Iranians shot a missile within several hundred feet of an American aircraft carrier, and how the Saudis and the Iranians were on the brink of war, I knew our president would not even mention it. Instead he again is trying to take guns away from us. He is trying to burden gun owners with so many regulations it will be impossible to own a gun, which is what he wants.

Our world is going to Hades in a hand basket and Obama lets out 17 more Muslim terrorist from Guantanamo. He is sending them to the United Arab Emirates. It is like pardoning a fox and letting it go to the hen house for rehabilitation. I don't know if our country can survive another year of his presidency. Putin laughs at him and dares him in Syria. May God be with us. May we be truly "one nation under God."

Need one more

Now that Jones County has done a fabulous job on its memorial to Otis Redding and Macon has one on the bank of the Ocmulgee River at the Otis Redding Memorial Bridge, there is one more that is needed along Third Street in memory of the Rev. Pearly Brown. That saint walked the streets of Macon for many years singing his heart out glorifying his Lord and Saviour. By the way he is not blind anymore.
