Great courage
Wow, what a powerful article in the Dec. 23, 2015, edition: "Muslims refuse to hand over Christians to militants." I am a Christian who can recognize the good in most religions, and this story is just full of beauty. In a time when there is so much controversy, especially regarding Islam, it brought tears to my eyes to imagine all these terrified people risking their lives. For those who don't know, when captured by radicals, the Muslims would not separate themselves from the other (probably mostly Christians) captives which would have certainly meant death for the non-Muslims, thus risking everyone being killed. This should have been way bigger news, read it if you have not.

Best about Forest Hill Road
Sure the road is a mess but when I turn from Glenwood Road onto Forest Hill Road I know something good is ahead. I am a member of Forest Hills United Methodist Church where God's word is preached and taught. God's people there are loving and kind. You forget about the road because you know the best is up ahead. You are welcome to stop in and see for yourself.
