Who will pay for the promises?
I am not a proponent of any of the current candidates for president. After all, it is more than 10 months before the election.
I ask that you, the voters. to think about something: All of these promises — from Sanders' free education to Clinton's cure for Alzheimer's to Trump's war and wall — are all good and fine rhetoric. The problem is who is going to pay for all of these high flying ideas? I guess Trump can pay for a wall and Clinton can pay for the cure with her speakers income.
But not one— no, not one — has ever told us how they plan to do it. Just pie-in-the-sky promises.
Think about that before you throw away a vote on a braggart and a con artist. (You assign names, I didn't.)
The next question is for Cruz, Rubio, Paul, Christie, and a couple more that I don't even remember: Who is doing your work that you were elected to in the Senate, the House and the Governor's Office?
Just something to think about, maybe. But please remember, we can't really afford anymore "free" things, anymore useless self-defeating wars and no more wild ideas of a Great Wall of the Rio Grande.
Merry Christmas to all.
