Cable woes

Steve Huff, letter of Dec. 15, is not the only person who feels we are being held hostage by Cox Communications. These people have continuously increased cable fees while reducing availability of decent entertainment, except for sports.

In its latest move they don't even give us an option. We pay or lose TV completely. They mention 40-plus channels without saying how many are duplicate and how many offer the same programs for the whole evening and in some cases from noon to 11 p.m. I don't really see much choice there. By the by, why can't Cox occupy the blank channels on its cable system.
