Prayer for today (8/27/15)

O merciful God, your Holy Word brings help in times like these. I look to the mountains from where my help will come. My help will come from you Lord, who made heaven and earth. You will not let me fall. My protector is always awake. The protector of Israel never dozes or sleeps. He is by your side to protect you. The sun will not hurt you during the day, nor the moon during the night. The Lord will protect you from all danger. No matter what you’re facing, God is bigger than that. For all of God’s children, I pray. Amen.
