Above the law
Jim Ziegler, the state auditor of Alabama, used a Biblical analogy to clarify the dating policy between a teenage girl and 30 year old man. Mary was a teenager and Joseph was an adult male. This happened over 2,000 years ago. It happened in Judea. Mary and Joseph were Jewish. Mary was betrothed to Joseph. I do not think Mary’s and Joseph’s relationship is applicable to Roy Moore. To me, this clearly demonstrates how far a professional politician will go to provide cover for friend.
Roy Moore has not completely denied the allegations of the five women. Roy Moore has not denied the allegation that he had a reputation for dating teenage. Roy Moore has not denied he was banned from a mall. As a sitting judge, Roy Moore was sanctioned twice for not complying with state and federal laws and while he says he upholds the U.S. Constitution, that’s exactly what he was found to have violated..
It is up to the voters in Alabama to elect who they want to represent them. I do not think an individual with a questionable past pertaining to teenage girls or who felt he was above the law should be elected to any office.

Sex allegations
You guys are missing the boat on the +sex allegations against Roy Moore. Everyone, especially women and politicians and the media say all of these women must be believed because they are women. However, if any woman claims she was raped, she is taken to the hospital and must be given a rape test kit procedure. In short, no woman’s story is accepted by police or a scientific organization like a hospital without physical proof.
My point is neither the police nor the hospital believes a woman’s story without physical proof. Equally, why should the public believe a woman’s story when she only shows up during the political season without pictures or an eyewitness? If the police and hospital do not take a woman’s word just because she is a woman, why should the general public believe these people just because the individual is a woman?

New party
What’s going on here? Are we going to have make a third party named the “Perverts” to fit in with the Democrats and Republicans? If “Perverts” is too strong they could be called the Gropers Party. Good Grief!

GOP donors calling shots
It appears that it’s been long enough. Long enough for corporations and donors to the GOP to think we will not notice they are about to be rewarded for their monetary efforts in the last election. Note: I only say GOP here because they won in 2016. Comcast wants to “free” the internet as a result of spreading around over $18 billion in lobbying money. How do you think they’re going to get that money back?
Donors to the GOP are looking for $1.5 trillion in tax breaks, or they will supposedly pull funding of the GOP. Wow! That must have really got a lot of our representatives attention! The tax reform bills started at the top. The major donors to the GOP made their concerns known. Sure, there have been a few temporary bones thrown to the middle class, but does anyone think a reasonable tax break is $1 a day for a household of three? Bringing the ACA/Obamacare issue in simply muddied the waters.
I am all for people who keep our economy going getting a tax break. But honestly, does someone who threw tens of millions of dollars around just to get a tax break sound like that kind of person? We all need to be as informed as possible about this legislation. Listen/read various sources and check them out. There are knowledgeable people who do not have a political interest in these matters. Find them.

Congress is Hollywood
Listen, I don’t think any lawsuit paid by taxpayers should be hidden from taxpayers. Congress is sounding like another Hollywood, and in my opinion, much worst for our taxes are being used to keep quiet charges of sexual abuse and harassment. Most member of Congress, just like the entertainers, knew taxpayers were paying to defend its members against lawsuits not pertaining to their job descriptions. Wow, who said elections are a bad thing. They sure are uncovering the political covers ups, one by one. Why not charge them for repayment.

Twittering fool
I am so tired of our president telling us how great he is when he has actually accomplished very little. Too often he comes across as a very mean-spirited egotist. And he lies bigtime and all the time. And this is so easy to see. His stature declines daily.
During a recent three week holiday in England, wherever I went and people heard my accent they would usually ask if the president is for real. Most of them don’t like him and are worried that he is going to start a nuclear war with North Korea.
Our president has no class and could learn a lot from Barack Obama who was and is a class act. Trump’s dislike of President Obama and endless attempts to disparage him and his record are despicable and unnecessary. He needs to stop twittering and making a fool of himself.

Pack ‘em like sardines
Probation is not getting it. Sitting here reading Friday’s Telegraph and discovering, once again, the failure of our judicial system. This thug named Anterrio Stinson was apprehended in an Atlanta motel after being on the run for murder in Bibb County. His crime was shooting to death a 24-year-old man in east Macon. The article also states he was sentenced to five years probation in 2016 for home invasion and aggravated assault.
I’m sorry but if you are stupid enough to invade someone’s home with them inside that doesn’t warrant probation. If they have to be packed in prisons like sardines, so be it. They did the crime, so do the time. Quit slapping them on the wrist and setting them free. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it!
