Just how hot will July be in Georgia? Here’s the month’s forecast
Middle Georgia is bracing for a sweltering July, with forecasts predicting daily high temperatures consistently in the low to mid-90s. The oppressive humidity index will make these days feel even hotter.
Mid-July is usually the hottest time of the year in Georgia, and the trend will continue this month, according to The Weather Channel.
Beyond the intense heat, rain is expected to be a recurring theme throughout the month. While at least eight days of precipitation are anticipated across the region, some areas, particularly around Macon, could experience rain on as many as half the days in July, according to data from AccuWeather.com.
Despite this frequency, the overall precipitation for the month is forecast to be lower than average. However, residents should still be prepared for the possibility of heavy downpours, especially during the middle of July, which could lead to localized flooding.
