Authorities find hiding place of escaped murder suspect
The escaped murder suspect accused of killing a Georgia lottery winner was found in Ocilla Thursday night.
Authorities followed a tip and found Earnest Anthony Holcomb, 28, underneath a house, WALB.com reports.
Holcomb was in the exercise yard at a Ben Hill County jail Wednesday when he escaped. Authorities believe someone may have helped him, according to WALB.
Holcomb is among six people charged in connection with the January killing of Craigory Burch Jr., who won $434,000 in a Fantasy 5 jackpot. Burch, of Fitzgerald, bought the winning ticket in Warner Robins.
