Georgia isn’t just the home of juicy, delicious peaches. It’s also home to two of the most beautiful college campuses in the county.

Travel + Leisure rounded up the 30 most beautiful college campuses in the country and while there are some in California, Florida and Ohio, two campuses are in the Peach State.

Let’s take a look:

Which GA college campuses are the most beautiful?

According to Travel + Leisure, Berry College and the University of Georgia are among the most beautiful in the country. But why?

The travel magazine noted Berry for its hefty 27,000 acres of land featuring fields, lakes, streams and mountains.

Berry makes prime use of its setting, too, with numerous reflecting pools and fountains situated near its beautiful English Gothic-inspired buildings,” said Travel + Leisure editors.

Berry College has also been the filming location of several movies like “Sweet Home Alabama,” “Remember the Titans” and more.

The University of Georgia in Athens is also on the roundup by Travel + Leisure, specifically highlighted for its lush landscape, historical buildings and beautiful chapel dating back to 1832.

The University’s Founders Memorial Garden is worth seeing, as it holds over 300 plant species and large, serene fountains.

So, what other college campuses are mentioned? Other campuses such as Vanderbilt in Tennessee, the University of Chicago in Illinois, Duke University in North Carolina and more. See the full list online.
