Feeling lucky? Well, 13% of Americans play the lottery each week and while some win hundreds, thousands or millions, winning still may seem like a stretch to others.
If you are one of the unlucky ones, you may start to wonder if the reason why you don’t win big is because of where you live. And a new study did just that.
The study by Planet 7 Casino found the number of winners in each US state over the last 20 years and ranked them.

According to the study, Georgia ranked the 7th state with the most jackpot winners since 2005, which is a total of 18.
Georgia has had 13 Mega Millions winners and five Powerball winners over the last 20 years.
