Parents found after nonverbal boy is seen wandering alone on Halloween, Georgia cops say

UPDATE: The child’s parents have been found, an Atlanta police spokesperson told McClatchy News.

Authorities said the investigation is still “active and ongoing.”

Police in Georgia are asking for the public’s help in getting a little boy back to his family.

A couple spotted the child just before 11 p.m Thursday, Oct. 31, wandering in the street in southwest Atlanta, according to the city’s police department. He was alone.

Authorities said the boy is nonverbal and looks to be 3 or 4 years old.

“There are no further updates to release as the case is still open and active,” a police spokesperson told McClatchy News on Nov. 1.

Anyone with information on the child or the whereabouts of his family is asked to call 911 or the Atlanta Police Department Special Victims Unit at 404-546-4260.
