Rapper Lil Boosie was arrested on several charges after he and members of his entourage were accused of damaging property during a live concert in Atlanta this month.

The rap star, born Torrence Hatch Jr., was charged Monday with second-degree criminal damage to property, inciting a riot, disorderly conduct property and criminal trespass, according to a booking report obtained by McClatchy News.

The alleged incident occurred Oct. 1 when Boosie and “several of his associates” ran out on stage and started destroying property that belonged to a production company, Atlanta police said on Oct. 2. Fans packed State Farm Arena for the “Legendz of the Streetz” concert, which featured other big names including 2 Chainz, Lil’ Kim and Rick Ross.

Officers arrived at the 21,000-seat arena around 12:40 a.m. on Oct. 2 after getting a call about a possible vandalism. After busting up equipment on stage, the caller said Boosie and his friends proceeded to damage property belonging to State Farm Arena, according to the release.

There were no injuries reported.

The Baton Rouge-born rapper has made headlines in recent years. In 2020, Boosie said he was booted from a Planet Fitness gym over disparaging remarks he made about three-time NBA champ Dwyane Wade’s daughter, who’s transgender.

The “Wipe Me Down” rapper was also ordered to pay $233,128.54 to a security guard he allegedly assaulted during Black Beach Weekend in Biloxi, Mississippi, in 2017, The Sun Herald reported. Boosie and members of his entourage were pepper sprayed after they refused to leave a Dillard’s department store.

Atlanta police are still investigating the vandalism incident.
