As seen on "Orange is the new Black," prison contraband found in lettuce

One produce truck got caught trying to bring way more than salad into a Georgia prison Thursday morning.

According to a Facebook post by the Georgia Department of Corrections, a produce truck attempted to bring in contraband hidden inside lettuce to Valdosta State Prison.

The lettuce, which was examined by the Food Service Supervisor, contained tobacco, marijuana and three cell phones, the post said.

Commenters admitted the story sounded familiar, as the same plot was used in a season one episode of the Netflix show, “Orange Is The New Black.”

“#NotOnOurWatch,” read the post that received nearly 100 shares shortly after it was posted.
