Police seek help locating 15-year-old girl missing almost two months

Columbus, Georgia, police are seeking help from the public to locate Bethany Dowdell, a 15-year-old girl who hasn’t been seen since Aug. 1.

The teen was last seen on Marlboro Avenue in Columbus and was spotted at the Family Dollar on Floyd Road in Columbus.

She is described as black, 5 feet 2 inches tall, and weighs 110 pounds. She has brown eyes and black hair.

Anyone with information about the teen’s location should call 911 or detective J. Jones of the Special Victims Unit at 706-653-3400 or 706-653-3449.
