If you want to vote in Georgia's upcoming presidential primary, Monday is the last to register if you haven't done so.

Dubbed the SEC primary by some pundits, the March 1 election is the day that seven states -- Georgia, Texas, Alabama, Arkansas, Tennessee, Oklahoma and Virginia -- will hold Democratic and Republican presidential primaries.

Most eyes will be on those states, but others, including Vermont and Massachusetts, will also have primaries that day. Voters in Alaska, Colorado, Minnesota and Wyoming will hold caucuses.

Advance voting across Georgia begins Feb. 8. Check with your local elections office to see where to vote. In Bibb County, early voting is held at the board of elections office, 2445 Pio Nono Ave.

There will be one day of Saturday voting: Feb. 20.

You can check your voting status at the Georgia secretary of state's office website: sos.ga.gov
