Many leave Donald Trump's Macon speech early
Starting around 8:30 p.m., the crowd began to thin as people headed for the exits -- in the middle of Trump's speech.
That was roughly the expected end time for Trump's talk, which was scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m.
Outgoing traffic was reportedly among the concerns for those leaving the arena before Trump wrapped up his remarks just before 9 p.m.
TRUMP DISCUSSES MEETING WITH BLACK PASTORS
Before his trip to Macon, Trump met with a contingent of black pastors in New York.
While he was critical of media coverage, he was pleased with the outcome of the gathering and impressed by the pastors, which included Ohio clergy member Darrell Scott.
"We had a meeting today that was amazing," Trump said. "The love they have for the people they represent and people in general was inspiring."
