Early voting ends Wednesday for Georgia Senate District 20 race

The last day for early voting in the special election for the Ga. District 20 Senate seat is Wednesday, and polls in Houston County close at 5 p.m.

Voting locations include: the old courthouse in downtown Perry; Central Georgia Technical College in Warner Robins; and Houston Health Pavilion (old Houston Mall) in Warner Robins.

The seat was vacated by Sen. Ross Tolleson due to health issues, and six Republican candidates are vying for the position including. They include: Bonaire businessman Brooks Keisler; Houston businessman Larry Walker III; Perry businessman Michael Reece; Warner Robins youth minister Vivian Childs; Kathleen businessman James Pettis; and Laurens County businessman Jon Martin.

The district covers Bleckley, Laurens and Pulaski counties and a portion of Houston County.
