Candidates vying for the state Senate District 20 seat will participate in a forum Tuesday in Warner Robins.

The forum is set for 6 p.m. at Oak Hall on Middle Georgia State University's Warner Robins campus. It is expected to run 60 to 90 minutes and will be moderated by Charles Richardson, editorial page editor for The Telegraph. The event is jointly hosted by the Robins Regional Chamber of Commerce, Middle Georgia State University and The Telegraph.

Six Republican candidates are on the ballot: Bonaire businessman Brooks Keisler; Houston County businessman Larry Walker III; Perry businessman Michael Reece; Warner Robins youth minister Vivian Childs; Kathleen businessman James Pettis; and Laurens County businessman Jon Martin.

Early voting is underway, with the special election scheduled for Dec. 1. The winner will replace Ross Tolleson, who resigned for health reasons.

District 20 covers Bleckley, Laurens and Pulaski counties and a portion of Houston County.
