Monday is final day to register to vote ahead of November elections

If you want to vote in next month’s general or special elections and you aren’t registered to do so, today is the deadline.

Cities and counties across the midstate will be having elections Nov. 3, from council races to sales tax proposals.

In Bibb County, voters are being asked whether to extend an extra penny of sales tax on the dollar to fund education projects. In Baldwin County, voters will decide whether to consolidate Milledgeville and Baldwin County operations.
