When do polls open in Georgia? Here’s what’s on the ballot in Macon, Middle Georgia

Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday across Georgia. In Middle Georgia, from mayors to commissioners to school board members, residents of towns and counties around the region will have a chance to decide on their next slate of leaders.

There are also some statewide races at the ballot box, including two races for seats on Georgia’s Public Service Commission. Those races have gained significant attention in recent months as Georgians have grown frustrated with rising energy costs.
