Telegraph Q&A: Houston County District Attorney candidates discuss issues

Election Day is only a few days away, and two candidates will be on the ballot for the District Attorney seat in Houston County.

Republican George Hartwig has served as the Houston County District Attorney since 2010. Hartwig won the Republican primary in June with 73% of the vote over Arthur Creque, chief assistant solicitor for Houston County State Court, according to a Telegraph article.

Houston County Chief Assistant District Attorney Erikka Williams is running against Hartwig as the Democrat on the ticket, and she ran unopposed in the primary.

The Telegraph asked both candidates a series of questions about issues surrounding the Houston County community. Here are their answers.
