Here's a sample of who midstate residents say they plan to vote for in Super Tuesday's Georgia primary election for president and why.

DONOVAN LATHEROW

Age: 20

Occupation: Mercer University student

Who are you voting for?: Bernie Sanders. "He represents, sort of, a populism movement that hasn't been seen since the '40s, which has kind of desperately needed a comeback. And I respect him greatly for straight-up attacking core concepts of American politics."

CALDER WILLINGHAM

Age: 31

Occupation: Business president

Who are you voting for?: "I'm undecided because the Republican primary is like a circus, and there's no real serious candidate to really pick from. If you made me pick, I'd probably choose (Marco) Rubio, but I don't like any of the candidates really. It's the lesser of any evil."

ALAN PARKER

Age: 61

Occupation: Insurance agent

Who are you voting for?: Donald Trump. "I have been a Donald Trump fan for a long time and will vote for him. He's a man of proven leadership. He's a businessman. He has incredible executive experience. And he's the only candidate that I can remember in a long time, especially for the Republicans, that said they are America first. I like that very much. We need to be the leaders of the world."

JENNIFER MUNTHALI

Age: 34

Occupation: Store manager

Who are you voting for?: Undecided. "There are so many candidates. I haven't even thought it about it yet."

MAMIE LEEK

Age: 58

Occupation: Family advocate

Who are you voting for?: "Right now, I'm not sure. It may be Hillary Clinton. I'm thinking about her because I think she'll make a good president, but right now, that's not my final decision."

ERIC KLING

Age: 36

Occupation: Bartender

Who are you voting for?: Undecided. "There really aren't any good candidates. The Republicans side is a bunch of wahoos that have crazy points of views, and Hillary Clinton just isn't a great nominee and while I like Bernie Sanders, he's kind of wacko too."

KEVIN MILLER

Age: 30

Occupation: Soccer coach

Who are you voting for?: Not voting. "I'm not actually voting for anybody because I don't trust any of them to be honest with you either side -- liberal, conservative, Democrat or Republican. That's just my point of view. I think they're a bunch of liars and cheats. I just don't feel like the people who should be in the top primaries are there."

DERRICK THOMAS

Who are you voting for?: "I'll probably be undecided until last minute."

TOBIAS HABERSHAM

Who are you voting for?: Bernie Sanders. "He's really genuine about what he wants to do as far as this country is concerned. Small, minority businesses that are around here, we need a little help, so I think that Mr. Sanders can help us."

Who are you voting for?: Undecided. "I'm not clear exactly where all the candidates stand on all the issues because there's too much bipartisan rhetoric."
