Macon-Bibb commissioner hosting town hall Friday

Macon-Bibb County Commissioner Al Tillman is hosting a town hall forum Friday night, according to a news release.

The forum will take place at Macedonia Baptist Church, 600 Eisenhower Parkway, at 7 p.m. The forum, hosted by the church's Men's Ministry group, will include updates on Tillman's district and the entire county. Attendees are invited to ask questions and express concerns, the release said.

Representatives from the Bibb County Sheriff's Office also will be in attendance.

"We need to make sure people have the chance to hear more about the work of its consolidated government, and let us know how we can continue improving all areas of the county," Tillman said in the release.

The Men's Ministry with Macedonia Baptist Church is involved with community outreach and development efforts, the release said.
