Meetings set in Houston County to discuss growth plan

WARNER ROBINS -- A public meeting will be held Wednesday to discuss the Middle Georgia Regional Plan.

The meeting is set for 3:30 p.m. at the courthouse annex at 200 Carl Vinson Parkway.

The Middle Georgia Regional Commission is holding the meeting to discuss the 20-year planning document it is developing. The plan will identify regional issues and goals.

A second meeting, covering the same information, will be held Jan. 27 at 5 p.m. at the Perry Arts Center at 1121 Macon Road in Perry.

The meetings will focus on challenges and opportunities for Houston County, particularly in relation to growth.
