Macon-Bibb County leaders could spend $303,000 on garbage cans

The Macon-Bibb County Commission will vote Sept. 1 on whether to purchase $303,000 worth of residential garbage cans.

The resolution, approved in a commission committee Tuesday, would mean 6,720 residential garbage cans would be bought from Toter Inc.

County officials said they also plan to expand recycling in the city-county.
