Macon Water Authority commissioner to be elected as polls close in runoff election

Vote counts are underway after Middle Georgia polls for the special runoff elections closed Tuesday evening.

The Macon Water Authority District 2 race, with Marshall Talley and Ron Lemon as candidates, was on the ballot. Neither secured enough votes in the May 19 primary elections, but they were the two contenders who received the most votes.
