Early voting opens in Middle Georgia for local, PSC races. See who’s running.
Early voting opened in localities across Middle Georgia on Tuesday. From mayors to commissioners to school board members, residents of towns and counties from around the region will have a chance to decide on their next slate of leaders.
There are also some statewide races at the ballot box, including two races for seats on Georgia’s Public Service Commission. Those races have gained significant attention in recent months as Georgians have grown frustrated with rising energy costs.
Early voting will continue through Oct. 31, according to the Georgia Secretary of State’s website. Election Day is scheduled for Nov. 4.
