News media to hold listening sessions ahead of Macon-Bibb elections. Here are the details.
Members of the media will give local voters a chance to set the agenda for the Macon city elections with a series of listening sessions around different parts of the city beginning Tuesday.
Media partners WMAZ-13, The Macon Telegraph and GPB, will have volunteers on site, ready to listen to voters. All you have to do is show up and tell us what’s on their mind, and fill out a simple survey.
This year the entire nine-member County Commission is up for election, along with the mayor’s seat, which has attracted 10 candidates. Incumbent Robert Reichert cannot run again due to term limits. There are a number of other county positions up for election, too.
