ATLANTA (AP) — Brian Kemp has been sworn in as Georgia’s 83rd governor.

Kemp, a Republican who won a hotly-contested gubernatorial race, was sworn in Monday before a crowd gathered at Georgia Tech’s McCamish Pavilion in Atlanta.

The ceremony took place before the GOP faithful, lawmakers, members of Kemp’s Cabinet and Kemp’s family.
