Gambler bets $7.50 on slot machine — then hits jackpot at North Las Vegas casino

A lucky gambler turned a small bet into a big jackpot prize at a casino near Las Vegas.

Now, the player is more than $18,000 richer.

The visitor sat at a Dragon Link slot machine at the Aliante Hotel Casino Spa in North Las Vegas, the casino said in an Aug. 19 Facebook post.

The gambler bet $7.50, hit spin and watched as the symbols flashed across the screen.

Then a jackpot message appeared saying the player won $18,221.19 from the popular game.

The player had a remaining credit of $1,005.32 when they won the prize.

North Las Vegas is about a 3-mile drive northeast from Las Vegas.
