Gambler bets $50 on slot machine — then wins big jackpot at Las Vegas casino

A lucky gambler walked away from a Las Vegas casino with a big jackpot prize. 

The player sat at a Dragon Cash slot machine at the South Point Hotel Casino & Spa, the casino said in a July 22 post on X, formerly known as Twitter

He bet $50, hit spin and watched as the symbols flashed across the screen until a jackpot message appeared.

“Help us give a big congratulations to (the winner), he just hit a massive $52,036.88 jackpot on our Dragon Cash machine!” the casino said in the post.

South Point Hotel Casino & Spa is about a 10-mile drive south from the Las Vegas Strip.

This wasn’t the only slot machine jackpot win in Vegas recently. 

Another gambler bet 88 cents on a Triple Troves Dragon Delight slot and won more than $10,000 at Suncoast Hotel & Casino.

Someone else bet $1.50 and won $11,164 on The Devils Domain Fire slot machine at Sam’s Town Hotel & Gambling Hall.
