A lucky gambler walked away from a Central California casino with a big jackpot prize.

The player sat at a “Wheel of Fortune” slot machine at the Chukchansi Gold Resort & Casino in Coarsegold, the casino said in an April 28 Facebook post.

The visitor bet $6.75, hit spin and watched as the symbols flashed across the screen.

Then a jackpot message appeared saying the player had won $123,894.53.

“Huge congratulations to Daniel who won BIG after two spins betting $6.75!” the casino said in the post.

Another gambler recently got lucky on a slot machine at the same casino.

The visitor bet $1 on a Lightning Link game and won more than $25,000.

Coarsegold is about a 40-mile drive north from Fresno.

Many people can gamble or play games of chance without harm. However, for some, gambling is an addiction that can ruin lives and families.

If you or a loved one shows signs of gambling addiction, you can seek help by calling the national gambling hotline at 1-800-522-4700 or visiting the National Council on Problem Gambling website.
