At least four people are dead after an alleged drunk driver crashed into a golf cart, Texas police told news outlets.

Two of the victims were children and two were adults, the Houston Chronicle reported.

All four were in a golf cart when an SUV hit it and a truck before midnight on Saturday, Aug. 6, police told the outlet.

The crash occurred near the intersection of 33rd Street and Avenue R., KTRK reported.

The driver of the golf cart was pronounced dead at the scene, and three later died at a hospital, according to the station.

Two others who were riding in the golf cart, a child and an adult, are still hospitalized and in critical condition, police told KHOU.

The SUV driver, 45-year-old Miguel Espinoza, is facing four charges of intoxication manslaughter, the station reported.
