A Warner Robins resident rang in the New Year becoming a multimillionaire after winning a Monopoly scratch-off, the Georgia Lottery announced Thursday.

The player won the top prize of $10,000 per week for life, and claimed the lump sum of just over $6 million in cash Monday.

The scratch-off was purchased at Pepo Food Mart at 504 Perry Parkway in Perry, Georgia Lottery officials said.

More than $46 million in prizes are up for grabs on the Monopoly game.

Another Georgia player in Collinsville recently won the maximum $2 million prize of a King of Diamonds scratch-off. The winner claimed the cash on Monday after buying the winning ticket at RJ’s Mountain Top Country Store at 12510 Highway 48 in Menlo.
