Event will honor Macon-Bibb commissioner

Macon-Bibb County Commissioner Al Tillman will be the guest of honor at an event this month.

Tillman’s work as a community leader will be recognized during an “All White Affair” dinner at Tremont Temple Missionary Baptist Church on June 17. The event will be held from 6:30-8 p.m. at 5263 Bloomfield Road.

Tillman is serving his second term on the Macon-Bibb County Commission. He is the founder of UNITY-N-Community organization and a former president of the Macon chapter of the NAACP.
