Georgia Democrat legislators are hosting a town hall event in Macon on Thursday.

The Georgia Resists town hall will feature state Reps. James Beverly and Miriam Paris, both of Macon, and House Minority leader Stacey Abrams, of Atlanta. The representatives will review the latest legislative session and discuss ways to improve Georgia.

The town hall will be held at the Wesleyan College’s Taylor Amphitheater, 4760 Forsyth Road, from 6:30-8 p.m.

“Georgians are ready to fight for progress at the state, local and national levels,” a news release said.
