The public is invited to provide input on how Rosa Parks Square can be redesigned, according to a news release.

The next forum will take place 5 p.m Tuesday in the Macon-Bibb County Government Center’s Commission Chambers, 700 Poplar St. The meeting will feature a presentation of the alternative designs for the downtown park, and the public will give feedback on how to make Rosa Parks Square more usable.

“We want to create a vibrant public space in the center of our downtown that draws people to it, and while there, they have the chance to learn from the lessons of our past,” Alex Morrison, executive director of the Macon-Bibb County Urban Development Authority, said in the release.
