Residents getting update on major roadwork, new park
Macon-Bibb County Commissioner Al Tillman is providing an update on two major west Macon projects on Monday.
Progress on the Log Cabin Drive improvement and new Filmore Thomas Park will be updated at New Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church, 4388 Robinson Road, at 6:30 p.m. Construction on the $1.5 million Log Cabin Drive project began in November and construction crews are nearing completion of the $1.7 million park located at the site of the former Durr’s Lake skating rink.
The two projects are being paid for through special purpose sales tax proceeds.
