Dublin VA having tea party for female veterans

The Carl Vinson VA Medical Center in Dublin is throwing a tea party next week for female veterans.

The hospital’s Women’s Health Clinic is having the party May 12 at 2 p.m. in the auditorium on the second floor of Building 2.

According to a news release, the party’s purpose is to educate female veterans about VA services available to them and to to get their perspective on how the VA can better serve them. “Our women veterans have served valiantly and defended their nation, so VA has worked diligently to make sure that their unique health care needs are met,” Angela Williams, manager of the Women’s Health Clinic, said in the release.
