Mobile VA center to be at Macon's Key Street VFW, Warner Robins City Hall

The Macon Vet Center's mobile center will be at Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9709 on Wednesday and at Warner Robins City Hall on Thursday.

The outreach for veterans at the VFW will be from 8:30-10:30 a.m. on 711 Key St. in Macon. It will be at Warner Robins City Hall at 700 Watson Blvd., from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Veterans, their families and anyone else who is interested is invited to stop by for information on benefits and resources for veterans.

The vet center specializes in helping veterans and their families adjust to life after combat. Counseling is provided for post traumatic stress disorder and addiction. All services are free and confidential.

Veterans are encouraged to bring their discharge papers to help determine eligibility for services.
