Middle Georgia State graduate programs gain regents’ approval
Two new master’s degrees got one step closer to reality at Middle Georgia State University.
The University System of Georgia’s Board of Regents approved a master of arts in teaching and a master of science in management to be added to the university’s offerings in 2017, if they get approval from the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges.
The management degree could begin as early as January, while the MAT would likely begin next summer. Middle Georgia State already has master’s degrees in nursing and information technology.
The MAT provides teaching certification, even to individuals with undergraduate degrees outside the education field.
