Homeschool program available at Go Fish center in Perry

The Go Fish Education Center is holding registration for its homeschool program.

The program will be offered on the first and third Friday of every month from September 2016 through May 2017 at the center, located at 1255 Perry Parkway in Perry, near the Georgia National Fairgrounds.

Topics for the program are science-related, from invertebrates and aquatic plants to food webs and even hazards of the outdoors. Sessions will run from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. starting with Sept. 2 and 16, and students will attend only one session per month. Students in kindergarten through sixth grade can register at a cost of $5 per person, including parents and siblings older than 3 years of age. To register, send an email to gofisheducationcetner@gmail.com that includes the following: name and grade level of the student(s), parent/guardian name, e-mail address, phone number, and the dates of the program(s) you are interested in registering for.
