Huntington Middle School teacher earns award
Huntington Middle School ESOL teacher Brian Lewis has been selected to attend the 2016 Global SMART Exemplary Educator Summit in Canada from July 18-22.
Lewis is one of only 20 educators selected in the U.S. and among 55 chosen from around the world to attend the summit. All expenses are paid by SMART. Lewis also attended the summit in 2015.
The Global SEE Summit is an event for technology leaders and advocates for inspiring excellence in education through the use of technology. The summit will be a week of sharing and learning to include:
- Advanced training sessions and workshops on SMART amp, a cloud-based, collaborative workspace, and SMART Notebook;
- Opportunity to network with other leading educators; and
- Opportunity to test and provide feedback on new and upcoming SMART products and initiatives.
